I incorrectly reported the 'the game would have benefited from more polish' bit. They mention how game feels fresh thanks to the fact that it differs from the original ToS in many ways, while still retaining the 'Tales of' charm.

Guess we will have to wait for some more detailled impressions (J-Gaffers ?) to know more precisely what kind of game it turned to be.ДЄlright, now that the full transcription of the ToS Wii cross review is out, I think I can make a few additions/clarifications : Not to give any credibility to the Famitsu scores and reviews, but although on one hand, a relatively crappy score for a hyped game in Famitsu tends to a pretty bad sign, on the other hand, the mini-review tells me mostly what I want to hear in terms of positive aspect. Its numerous references to the previous game (characters, story) make that there no prerequisite (to enjoy the game), but it would really be better to play the previous one before. Increasing the experience is indispensable in this case. Some aspects of the game system have been improved compared to the previous game, such as the tempo, the production value, as well as the strategic aspect. I wish we could get a full, new game instead though. These screens have got me hyped again.Д®dit: New trailer. The game looks so much better than when it was revealed.
